Gremlin
Hi All, i Managed to aquire a set of BWA alloys 15x8.5 which i would like to use, but i am missing the wheel nuts. They are curently mounted with standard nuts but the nuts just engage a few treads, not at all to my liking. My question is does anybody know or seen a wheel nut which fits these alloys?? Or as a long shot have some nuts laying in a shed? Wheels are like these. Thanks G
Phil Hancock
I know the type of nuts that you want, we had a set of these rims on a D1 and when we sold them the purchaser did not pick up the nuts. The nuts are a long blind version of std nuts, BUT the angle on the end is a different(sharper) angle to normal steel wheel nuts. They are currently still sat in the shed. headhunter
I am selling a set to fit like the one above does, however they are stainless steel made by Wrington, without the chrome cap, set of 16 + 5 standard locking nuts. They fit all vehicles with 16mm x 1.5 threaded studs. http://www.wrington.co.uk/landrover.htm Cost me £240!! + the lock nuts. John
Gremlin
Ok but those are for the standard rover alloys, the ones i have are not rover alloys! Thanks for the replies anyway, i do not think they are the right nuts for the job.............
Gremlin
Time to bump this back up, i am still looking for a set of nuts for the BWA set, i now also have a set of Wolfrace alloys which need nuts!! They look like these. Any one has some handy?? G
Daan
I had a set of wolfrace wheels once, and had the nuts, bar one. I got a standard defender/discovery alloy wheel nut and got someone to turn it down. Worked ok. Daan

Soren Frimodt
i have a set of those exact wolfraces, and couldn't find any nuts after a very long and thorough search. So ended up making a set on the lathe from these: http://www.paddockspares.com/pm225-zinc-plated-wheel-nut.html
