disgolee
hi all just brought a new truck to challenge in, but not got much challenge experince, currently got a detroit locker in the rear, can't decide weather it's more of a help or hinderence, anybody else got one in there truck or got any views of it staying in or to get rid of it cheers Lee
lansalot
If you've got it, keep it. Free locker ! Mine corkscrews a bit down sideslopes (or so I think), but apart from that it's good.

markyb
they are good, always work and fairly maintenance free. if i got one with the truck i would keep also. Sounds like you need an 8274 to go with that bumper :-)
Daan
I like them very much, very simple in operation and little to go wrong. Keep an open eye on reliability, the later generation ones have got a habit of packing up, Mine was bought in 2003 and still works well without problems (touch wood). Roel, Antwerp, Belgium Hi Roel, I have exactly the same problem but parts seem impossible to get, it seems like it would be easier and cheaper get a new locker. Don't know if I would go detroit again though for that reason.
tuko
Send an email off to Chase at East Coast Gear, he's been very helpful for me and a few friends over here in Sweden. If there's anyone that can help I would say it's him and his service to Europe is very good. Todd.
