western
have you tried unscrewing it from the body ? or it might have 2 or more clip in fingers that need lifting or squeezing to disengage them from the body. this photo might help, borowed from http://www.lrseries.com/ & www.brit-car.co.uk
CwazyWabbit
You need to remove the metal inner part from inside the green light up bit (all the right technical names here) you'll have to bend the sides of the metal bit in as the green plastic bit locates into it. Once the metal bit is removed the green bit should come out.
CwazyWabbit
The rectangular holes in the metal bit are where the green plastic clips into it, that is where it needs bending to release it
Anderzander
Mud stuff descriptions here..... pdf link part way down the page. I had to change the bulb in mine and the whole thing seemed fiddly and tricky not to break! Alternatively - change it to an after market one? eBay
UdderlyOffroad
Has anyone managed to track down a slightly more robust aftermarket jobbie that still has lighting in it, so you can see where to plug stuff in at night? Preferably with LED lighting so you don't break the holder trying to change the bulb?
JSG
I changed the one in the 90 for a 12v socket from Mobile Storage Systems - seems to be a better fit and has a rubber cover over it when you're not using it.
