Engine just died and after a few mins started again perfect running. problem was with the electronic ignition module when warm. I replaced it and is ok. Further to that questions would be: -Does it always do it? -Does it do it when hot or cold (or both the same) -What troubleshooting has been done so far? countryman Posted June 30, 2011 Share Posted June 30, 2011 Bitter experience has taught me that you should be very methodical and check very wire and conector on the ignition side first. I had a similar problem which turned out to be a faulty amp. Always replace with genuine part from franchised LR dealer NOT from fleabay!!! The thing to double check before replacing the amp is the wiring,on one occasion I missed a loose connector to the low tension side and that gave your symptoms.
