Hydraulic Winch

Recommended Posts

Nige is right, the ocv could also be hassling. When does it happen - spooling out / spooling in / doing nothing ? If it's only on spooling out (or in if you've plumbed the ocv in backwards) then that could be a possible problem.

new suck pipe and noise has gone.. winch works perfectly.. the only prob is between a certain rev range there is still a lot of noise coming from the tank / levers (even when i do not use the winch) just with the pump engaged.

no bubbles at all now.

any ideas? only thing i can think of is valve block on levers.

FYI - Winch is a Saley with a 14inch drum on a north offroad bumper (if i was buying it again you can just get a 14.5inch drum on a north offroad bumper if you are interested) - its bloody brilliant pulls my truck up a slope with all the brakes on hard and does not miss a beat or even slow down...

free spool is great and flicking betwen high and low is easy - fast is fast.
