Getting the Horn....

Recommended Posts

Doesn't it just have to produce a "loud clear tone" or something?

I have an air-raid siren at work (one of the big motor driven ones with a sort of thrower fan on the end) and I have been meaning to try and put that on the 90 somehow.

The noise is awesome - the end of the world seems nigh

Pre 1906 vehicles

Vehicles certified by the London Science Museum as being designed before 1 January 1905 and constructed before 31 December 1905 can have a gong, bell or siren audible warning

Anyone got a log book for a 1904 defender? I want to replace the horn with a gong

Pah - for REAL moving power you need one of these :D

In the engine series that Robbie Coltrane did on TV a while back, it was Coltrane's Planes & automoblies, engines that turned the world. it's a PAL format video of the Channel 4 series, in the V8 prog he ran one of those air raid sirens upto full power, what a fab noise B)
