I must have posted at the same time as you, Nice job there and it looks strong - will have to see what I have laying about here - thanks for the picture.

Have pillar drill and welder so just need to see if I have some steel.

I have a difflock locking bar, whilst it may not be the cheapest, I've used it to change many belts and I think its worth the money. Makes the job a breeze :) Get yourself the correct tool, or alternatively the whole kit, and you will be changing a timing belt in no time.

I made one- just a couple of pieces of flat bar filed out to go round the curvature of the crank shaft, welded to a piece of strong tube, which I bolted to the TV damper and braced against the chassis rail, you can then unbolt it and fit thecrank pulley over the crank nut
