Mutley
I was removing the crank breather ERR1471 and yes it broke!...just at the O ring point.... Now there is just enough to fit in the hole and i can bolt it back in place, obviously the seal without the O ring isn't going to be great, but would it be ok to do this and run the motor till i get a replacement breather? Cheers Mutley
CwazyWabbit
It'll make a bit of a mess but you should be alright... might be worth smearing some instant gasket on the stub before shoving it in. How far and what type of driving will you be doing?

Mutley
Yep the same got one on order, but really need the motor till it arrives, if not a good idea to run it then so be it, just makes life a bit dificult
Tetsu0san
It's only a breather and most leak anyway. As long as you can seal it enough to keep as much big stuff from getting in as possible then you will be fine.
