muddy4x4xfar
hi all. iv got a 200tdi disco, it has standard suspension, would a set of 265/75/r16 bf goodrich tyres go on with no modifications? also if i was to go down the road of having a suspension lift whats everybodies recommendations. i do go offroading but also do a lot of offroading driving. cheers
fozsug
Would need a Camel Cut minimum. 2" inch lift Gwyn Lewis OME Kit.
godzilla84
Not even with a camel cut. I managed 235/85/16 BFG AT with just a camel cut but i tried 265s and they rubbed quite badly. The other issue is what offset wheels are you planning on using? Standard disco wheels will rub the radius arm on full lock with that tyre size. Stick them on a set of modulars and that overcomes that issue.
fozsug
Funny im running 265/75/16 Kuhmo KL71's on Wolf rims and a Camel Cut, adjusted stops, but no excessive rubbing at all.

disco_al
i'm using 235/85/16 bfg at's without a camel cut, and not suffering from any rear end rubbing problems that's with bearmach HD rear springs all round. they do catch on the n/s radius arm though, so stop needs tweaking a bit

Stevie D
Do the HD springs give a lift? Normally about 20-30 mm!
