FridgeFreezer
I'd say there's an easier distinction: The members' vehicles forum is for posting whatever you're driving/using, whether it's modded or not, by way of saying "Hello, here's my fleet", and perhaps posting updates like "I changed this bit", "it broke down", "I drove it 3000 miles, here's a few pictures"... that sort of thing, the "life and times" of your vehicle. The "builds & mods" or whatever you want to call it forum would be for full-fat build/rebuild/major works projects, either starting from scratch or with your vehicle, documenting stuff in a bit more detail, discussing engineering / decisions etc... if a few years down the line you decided to pull it apart and start again, you'd post another thread as it's a new project, even if it's the same vehicle each time. For example; I'd post my 109 in the member's vehicles section, but I wouldn't post the entire blow-by-blow account of the rebuild there. When Dan did the cage for me, that was a new thread in the tools'n'fab forum as it's about the project not the vehicle, and discussions about cages really belong in the tools'n'fab bit. LandyManLuke
Fridge's reasoning makes sense. Overall, it sounds like most people will get the idea of what belongs where. It's no great problem to move threads if required, as long as it's done sensibly.
