easytiger
Hi, I'm thinking of buying a 91 110 station wagon. It has a 2" lift on it, can anyone tell me whats involved in returning it to standard please?
Retroanaconda
Well, generally it involves taking off any non-standard parts and putting standard one back on in replacement... Potential parts that may have been changed: Springs most likely Shocks probably Shock mounts Suspension arms (radius arms etc.)
Anderzander
Depends what has been changed .. ? Might just be springs, or springs and shocks, or springs and shocks and brake lines etc. Nothing difficult - nor expensive though.

damanic
Look to see if the+2 lift comes from spacers or longer springs. Check the radius and trailing arms to see if they are standard, they might have been castor corrected. Check the shock mounts are standard. After removing the lift check the shocks do not bottom out on full compression. Bumpstops might be longer than standard.
easytiger
Thanks, I reckon that the truck will have larger wheels/ tyres, what is the biggest tyre size I could use with standard suspension set up?
damanic
For going back to standard.. 235/85... if you want bigger tires keep the lift.
Anderzander
You can go 265/75 on standard but it'll give you a slightly smaller turning circle.
