bluespanner
I'd like to fit side windows in the side panels of my 110. I don't want to go down the route of OE sliding windows, or those odd looking bonded full glass jobs. What is like is just a flat piece of glass in a rubber, in a cut out. Does anyone know what part numbers I require? I'd like the windows as large as possible but not so big I cannot fit two each side. Many thanks Roland
bluespanner
Maybe this would be better in the part number request section...
bernie
Would be easier just to get a second hand pair of sides with windows per fitted,
weasel_110
I got mine made to measure from a firm that does glazing for horseboxes, motorhomes etc...Think it was about £50-60! For example http://www.vehiclewindows.co.uk/windows/index.php
miketomcat
Glass fitted in rubber I think looks a bit naff in the sides.why not buy some sliding window frames remove the sliding windows and replace with one sheet of glass or polycarbonate then glue it into the frame with proper window adhesive. Boris113
What about using something like polycarbonate? You can cut it with a jigsaw and fit it with generic window seal. It's lighter than glass, a toughened version wouldn't smash and it's cheap too.
