markhowlett
Hi I hope someone could help me out?? I have got a 1987 RRC 3.5 EFI. After to got the car I found that the old rear axle had a lot of holes in it so I replaced it with a new. All the rear bushes have been replaced. I removed the self leaving unit and upgraded the springs. I have panted all the parts and refit them all. All working great until the rear ball joint broke and came away from each other. After a short drive home I removed the A frame ball joint fulcrum bracket. I got a new ball joint a started to fit it to the car I could get the two nuts a bolts holding the bracket to the A frame arms but when it came to getting the ball joint into the axle I could get into in the hole but not all the war through. I did not mater which way I tried to do it I could only ever get two out of the three to line up. I then remover the hole axle but i still can't get it to line up. Any help would be great regards Mark

Bowie69
Have you got the A-frame upside-down?
Rangy35
+1 A-frame wrong way round.
Snagger
That's it - the cranked sections of the frame should be roughly horizontal.
markhowlett
I would like to thank you all. Got under the car today and it was the wrong way around. I have ordered a new ball joint and repainted the A frame. Regards Mark
