western
you can keep the orignal brackets & folding bonnet stay if you want, it'll be a few less parts to buy & more pennies for something else. but if you want the genuine 200 rad brackets they are RH ---- ESR283 LH ---- ESR282 as supplied in my 200TDi retro-fit kit or from 5/3/1992 RH --- ESR68 LH --- ESR69 plus 2 x rubber washer ------------ NRC5544 or use the existing ones 4 x bolt ------------------------- SH106207L 4 x plain steel washer --------- WC106047
jamesdeval
thanks for that where about do you get the "retro fit kit" from?
western
thanks for that where about do you get the "retro fit kit" from? you can't anymore as the 200Tdi is out of production, LR did these kits complete with engine & ancillaries to enable older vehicles to have the 200Tdi, put one in my 110 around mid '94. the part numbers above will get you the correct brackets. davidlandy
I just chopped the pins from the top of the old defender rad and welded them onto the new disco one. u then use the standard defender brackets.

JST
i did the same as David advised above, as per the article in the tech archive, certainly the easiest way to do it.
