GBMUD
Here you go, a local contender. Watch the video. The video is very impressive. It does not show other aspects of Landrover use though, like motorways, supermarket car parks etc... Chris
FridgeFreezer
Just watched the video - that thing looks really delicate. Sure it'll crawl over anything but that's all it'll do, dunno how much it costs but I'd have thought a big set of flotation tyres would be a better bet, or just buy a BV206 Also looked like the track bogeys would rotate if you floored it against a bit of resistance. Ex Member
BTW, a set of Matt Tracks for an F350 sized truck are around $32000 USD.
FridgeFreezer
So about £16k then you can probably buy two BV206's for that money (or one very nice one) I know which I'd rather have
bill van snorkle
Go on Bill have some fun.[/url] My post on a similar topic on Pirate lists most of the reasons why I wouldn't bother, even if someone gave me a set for free. However,I would still like to have a go at building a Roadless, with difflocks, suspension, gearing etc. Bill.
JimAttrill
And what this "Aluminum" they keep going on about Apparently the Yanks have been told to spell it "Aluminium" like the rest of the world because this goes with the "ium" endings of most other metals like Titanium and Strontium. But this will take a long time to implement.
