need4speed
Fitted a Bosch 120A alternator to the v8 with the appropriate pulley suitable for v-belt. After checking Allbrit I can only see part numbers for the alternator mounted on the passenger side, not the drivers side as mine is mounted... western
might be better to measure the belt length & see if a motor factors can match it for width & length to a suitable Vee belt
need4speed
Your probably right Ralph. Especially as it's a non-standard setup. Is there a preferred make/brand?

western
Dayco or Gates are LR suppliers, never had any problem with these brands.

Dave W
When I did mine I got a selection of belts from simplybearings.co.uk - part measuring and part trial and error to get a belt that gave the best grip and fit. They have a good range of belts of different designs, widths, depths and lengths.
