Discochris
Hi all I'm thinking of getting a 110 td5 but my missus wants it to be auto would it be a easy job to change it over to auto thanks Chris
Snagger
With the box and torque converter/housing from a Discovery II, it should be reasonably straight forward mechanically for a professional or experienced enthusiast, but it'd be a big job for a novice. I don't know about mountings.
dave88sw
They are also electronically controlled so you will need a compushift or similar, talk to ashcrofts, they do the kits, what they don't know about land rover gearboxes isn't worth knowing.
