Nigelw
Anyone know if the top mounting bracket is the same front and rear on QT diff guards? Like this one.

landroversforever
By handed you mean different front and rear? The only difference is that the front one has to clear the track rod so doesn't have the slider part under the diff that the rear one has. Nigelw
No Ross, handed as in LHD & RHD version
landroversforever
But the axle case isn't any different? Wonder if it's a clearance issue then!?
Nigelw
Been out and loosely held it up against the diff, don't look like it fouls the PH rod but clearance would be tight either RHD or LHD. Coincidentally, anyone know if pan hard rod mounting differs between LH & RH drive vehicles?

landroversforever
Mine used to just rub the panhard a slight touch on one edge. Panhard is fitted opposite way round on a LHD. Chassis end is always closest to the steering box.
Lewis
Personally I'd forget that bracket and just weld it to the top of the axle case; when I used QT guards they would always twist to the side with a good knock, welding cured that
landroversforever
I like Lewis' idea. But clean it out regularly as mine used to like filling up (when the car was used )

Gonna wire wheel and epoxy paint the diff cover and once painted I'll do as you suggest Lewis.Ross, to PH rod attaches just to the left(looking at the axle from the front of the vehicle) of the diff so the bulge is axle end of the rod. landroversforever
Yeah so the rod on. RHD has the bulge at the chassis end of the rod
