Hi guys after some help again from all you lot with the knowledge please.........Ok 1990 110 was originally a TD ....spent ages doing her all up and lots £ as some of you know and have some of the dreaded corrosion back .... First on the windscreen frame .....so what screen frames will fit my landy 200tdi, 300tdi, td5 one ????? Second just what people would choose for a new door (had all new genuine ones 7 years ago and yes believe it or not have some corrosion we are on about tiny pin pricks just one or two but its on its way isn't it) Steel frame that's been galvanized and the alli skin then marine bonded onto it (Ash tree land rovers have one of these all ready from where the gate hit a door and didn't want filler in my landy so new door) One of the new all steel doors so steel skin steel frame Or a steel door that's been galvanized ...the skin and frame ...but what sort of paint finish could you get on it... The main one being what screen frame at the mo as the doors you cant even see it its so small Thanks there

Don't bother unless its bad .......A new seal will last a month or two then it will start to drip again Ive had four in mine over the years and drip drip drip still .......Aparantly a land rover specialist told me the part of the actual casing wears inside when they get older so you can never really mend it properly ...Ive tried new shaft every thing and still.......drip drip drip......So now I just replace it when it gets bad and thay slows it right off for 2-3 years

No the shocks have the standard bushes in as the holes are smaller than the land rover standard shocks so the polly bushes wouldnt fit them. Bloody thing when there working it drives GREAT Yes I've seen the galvo axles unfortnatly after I had all mine dun else I prob would have had the same.

There must be others out there who have dun a chassis change and fitted the Terafirma medium 2"+ kit the polly bush kit was Flo flex one I have just mesured the gap between the bottom of the bump stop and me axle its four and a half inches...When I think it went as I nearly lost control and di not feel right after.... I was doing a hard right hand corner and its the passanger side that went .....so that would be pulling it up not compressing it down (I think lol)

Thatnks for that ...That is very intresting so I could actualy be puting more strain on them than off roading by cornering hard etc so it may be a case of just not doing a Sterling moss in it and driving normaly and they may last

Well if Nigelw surplier is giving him a 50 thousend Killometers garantee I must have some thing wrong some where but no a clue what ......I dont off road but do enjoy driving my landy and on road and every now and then enjoyI throwing it about and drive it hard and fast I tend to think Im Jenson Button in a F1 car with it lol hiting every apex pushing to the max round the corners but still thats nothing to the ponding off roading would do to them ........It a puzzle

True but not as in your face as four bloody great yellow shocks would be all so got black axle cases and mud flaps......... 90% blue and silver with a hint or orange pluss if you look close the stainless blue coverd brake pipe has a orange makers tab round it so it matches PMSL

Hay if he is giving that sort of garantee .........its cheaper for me to buy 2 back shocks from your guy and have them shipped over especialy at £29 each so £58 for two back shocks and even with postage on top (cant be that much) Im on a winner with a 50,000Km garantee even with return shiping costs if fails again

Was a great 4x4 car all the back seats used to fold completely flat as well to make the back like a van could get some big stuff in there. Very nippy and quick was amazing fun in the summer flying round the norfolk lanes both the sun roofs open used to stick to the road like S***

FIAT PANDA 4X4 WHAT A CAR.............Had one the older fiat panda's 4x4 with double sun roof, bull bar, spot lights etc etc Brought it from Diss car auction for £50 just as a run around to find anouther car. I ended up keeping it and it went thro every MOT at no cost for SEVEN YEARS ...We didnt think our luck could hold so decided the poor Panda's time had come to be sold......SODS LAW sat in Roy's of wroxham car park disscusing it going eating a hot cornish...just got out and BANG .......lets just say a lady driver reversed in to the door and put a dent in it The insurance company sent me to LEADERS boady works place "oooo we cant match that paint mate" and so they offerd me £150 ......"your joking mate just look on Ebay these are cult cars now see what there making" BINGO came back at me with a £500 offer and I could KEEP THE CAR ... I brought a £2 dent puller and guess what pulled the dent streight out and couldnt tell it had been there .............Put it on Ebay and it made slightly under £600........Now thats a car cost £50 had SEVEN YEARS trouble/cost free motering and made over £1000 proffit on it ........and it went like stink the wheels used to spin when you put your foot down in first ...cheap tax as well........ I regret selling it and would have anouther just as a buzz around car.

Well 4x4 M&M who the original kit came from I phoned them up and asked if this was normal the gent was very helpfull and said NOPE asked for pics of my Landy and its chassis to try and work it all outso will wait and see......Still no reply from Terafirma tho ...........Good to see good after sales custermer service is alive and kicking .....NOT Its funney how some companies/buisniess will bend over backwards to help you and others not a chance Engine watch dog is illuminated RED all my extra dials and main dashdials Ive changed to blue illumination. I contacted them in Auss and asked if I could have a blue LED display instead of red .....Sure of course we can do that no problem Mota Lita....I wanted a speacial made boss/wheel adaptation and wanted a pacific leather in my own colour leather swen on the wheel.......Sure yes we can do that no problem Carling Switches ......well it goe's on and on But other companies so un helpfull ...all most blunt and rude if you ask a request and you just think how are they still in buisness and sod ya Ill spend my money some where else.............

I just wonder how many people it will affect who make a living from all the bolt on bits- up grades we all love to buy coss theres a hell of a lot of them out there ... I surpose it depends just how much it is like or diffrent to the Defender. I wonder if the new one will have doors that rot and sun roofs that leak this is it the replacement revield at the Los Angeles motor show Truley HORRID

I'm that obsessed with the dam thing Id pay Bilstien to paint/ them in the colours I want ............It wouldnt be the first time I've had things dun at source/production for it in the colours I want Or had items changed to my specs LOL
