Yeah I know they are not inc in the gasket set but the two I've noticed that are missing is the one between the tranny case and rear output boss and the one that fits between the tranny case and tranny box and no oil seals in mine either, think I will just order another but better gearbox gasket set and a tranny box sump gasket as well
Hi guys
Is there such a thing as a series transfer box gasket set or is it covered with the gearbox gasket set, I do have a gearbox gasket set which has been un opened for a couple of years till the other day when I opened it to check and there are gaskets that look like they fit the transfer box but there are a couple of gaskets missing, if there is a such thing as a transfer box gasket set could give me the part number please
Yeah i had them in all my series landys and they was great, my last one a 200tdi S2a swb with std gearing and o/d it was great the only down side to it was it would run out of gears before it would run out of puff so with this one i wanted it to have higher gearing to help keep the engine revs down on motorways so though an HRTC and a 3.54 diff would do the job which it does really well but now 1st is like 2nd and so on which i half expected but its just to much hence why i want to down gear my gearing âšī¸

See mine is the opposite its great on motorways but on normal roads i can't go into 4th below 45 so most of the time i'm in 3rd and 1st is like 2nd thats with the 3.54 in if i fit the 4.71 in 1st is more usable but still high âšī¸
Yeah to be honest i'd forgotten about my tyres so yeah your probably right so i will do the tranny box swap and see what happends i've still got my old 4.7-1 diff a lot of work i know but hey ho đ
Hi guys
I've just bought a std tranny box to replace my Ashcroft HRTC as the gearing is far to high great on a motorway but no good for town work as 1st is like 2nd and so on, i've tried swapping back my std diff which it does pull the gearing down but not quite enough so so going this way should better.
Just after I bought my kit a company on fb sprung up who have just made a disc brake kit and just at the testing stage with no prices, to me it just looked liked the Zeus kit but the calipers fitted much higher up than the ones on the Zeus kit but you had to source your own calipers and discs like as you would if you went with the Haystee kit using older Defender stuff, I will try and find them and post it on here
Std master cylinder with no servo but once I've done the rear's I will fit a servo not sure which one yet and obviously a master cylinder to go with it but up to now I'm very pleased with them.
