  1. Nice one guys, thanks for getting back, good info
  2. Sorry to go on, Ashcroft are closed till Monday now, and reading the link you sent explains Defender and Disco boxes eloquently, but do you know if for example that a 61A would fit where a 50A was, its is a so called long stick, I certainly wouldn't call you on it, just wondering as I can't ask Ashcroft and I'd like to buy this box tomorrow if it's compatible, sorry its late fella, all the best
  3. I have spoke to them before fella, never thought about it this time round, God knows why not, but thanks again anyway
  4. Actually fella, I've had a proper look at that link, that's well helpful, thank you
  5. As above, another quick one if anyone has a moment, obviously there's a difference somewhere but I've no idea, for example a 50A to a 55A LT77, what's the difference there, I'm assuming it's going to be ratio, so is there a massive difference? I'm also assuming any suffix will fit any bell housing on an 1985 110, help me now before I buy the wrong thing, all the best guys
  6. Yes muddy, western pointed that out, I got a hole with a pipe attached underneath I just didn't remove the drain at the time I painted and fitted it and wasn't going to start grinding at it all again, it all works well and haven't had any problems as yet
  7. Nice one Mike, that's handy aswell other than the number you've given, I've now got ESR0370, ESR2102 and ESR3286 the one that Snagger and Western sent says 530170 which is the right picture in a drawing but can't seem to get a photo up of my one anywhere, getting my t/t$ to be honest
  8. Thank you muddy, what discovery 2 or something? Snagger and Western sent me link to the one I'm using, I think I'm finally where I wanted to be with it, didn't think I'd get done in by an air filter housing, thanks again
  9. That the one fella, in the first picture, thanks again
  10. Nice one Western, but that isn't either of mine, no brackets to take those straps, thanks for everyone's input
  11. It does work well on mine, and to be honest I wasn't paying Steve Parker prices, but it would still be handy to get a part number for the one that's in mine, if anybody knows it, Western sent me a link but it doesn't seem to show the one I actually have
  12. I've got these pieces, still attached to the Bedford which if they are any good to you I'll get them off and you can have them, the main piston bit unfortunately isn't above the door and to be honest stumped as to where I've put it, but I'm sure if you were to find a commercial breakers you could get the piston bit, probably half the weight of the one I had and a lot neater and smaller, it's only a push pull unit, I'm guessing that's what your after?
  13. Thank you all, there's quite a few different style's, without seeing them in the flesh it's difficult to know what your looking at
  14. I've got a bit to do this morning but I'll have a look this afternoon and let you know
  15. Got to be honest Mo, your first post and the link you sent resembles and very close to the opening and closing mechanism on an 1980 Bedford coach passenger door, you'll remember the ones as the bus driver pulled away he'd hit the button and the door shut, and hopefully opened when you wanted to get off, I'll see if I can find it, I took it off finding my daughter one night drunk as a sack scrwamibg the place down not being able to get out of her wagon cos the thing had jammed somehow, I think most of it is still above the door, all valves and 3mm piping, I'll have a look tomorrow and send some photos on, hope your well
  16. Sorry guys, if I've read this right there a conflict of opinion here, I've been through all the books I have here, Google til I'm blue in the face and thought I'd got it, but Smallfry what your saying is the one in the picture sat on my wing is the disco one, yes? I'm not questioning you, I want to know, others are saying different if I've got this right, if anyone has a part number for the one that is actually on my wagon now would be handy, thanks for your input Smallfry
  17. Thanks guys, and Western I realise about the drain there is a hole underneath for that purpose, I should of probably blanked the top hole off but didn't for what ever reason, thank you both for getting back
  18. Just a quick one here guys, I've just got a air filter box but it differs a bit from the one I'm using, it will fit where my one is now but in the picture the one sat on the wing of my car should it have an end cover like my one in the my car, if that makes sense
  19. I've just had my 200 out, there is another lifting eye right at the back of the head, close to the bulkhead, I never actually used the one that's held by the head bolts to loft mine out, try and get a straight lift with a beam or something though or you'll find they bend quite easily and end up alarmingly close to your rocker cover
  20. Yes fella, it is, bled it through, it's a lot better still quite low on the pedal but works a treat, thanks for your help
  21. That's what I wanted to here Steve, I'm going to bleed it when the wife gets back, thanks for getting back, quite a relief to read your post to be honest, the thought of taking it all apart again through my own stupidity was to say the least frustrating, all the best fella
  22. The pushrod is all adjusted 140mm off the floor, do you think I would get the gears if it was wrong? and if I have put it in the wrong way and it's up against the flywheel bolts, surely it would be rattling to hell wouldn't it? that's for getting back Mike
