as title chaps what would i need to do to get some 33x12.50x15 under my 93rrc?
it has been converted to coils all ready (yeah i know ill need bigger springs tho) but retains the front shox being mounted further forward in front of the spring (does this matter??)
also dont mind if i have to cut the arches out either
thanks in advance

hi all my 93 rrc has been converted to coils from air sus but i want new shocks on it
is there any difference between air and coils shocks as my front shocks are still located in the air sus position and not in the middle of the spring as per normal ???
also ins not possable to put normal shock towers on to put them through the front springs as my lpg system is in the bloody way
thans in advance rob
and your tow bar (if fitted) will dig in very early and where is your gas tank located?
if like mine where it has had the fuel tank replaced with gas tanks i now have a small reserve petrol tank sticking down that would take a early bath off road so that would need attention too

if it was my car with this fault the first thing i would do is check for voltage supply to the motor
if none there check at resistor pack
then at switch
then back to fuse
if you have no voltage at fuse then fuse box is shot
but at least this way your working in a methodical manner and if it is a wiring not component fault you know what area to be looking in
could also be a simple switch/resistor/motor failure too tho
with electrics never over look the obvious (i talk from experiance here ) and work in a methodical way rather than dashing from one point to the next

the panel behind the bonnet where the windscreen wipers come through
some call it the decker panel others call it the scuttle panel
has loads of names but thats where it is

and i have been thinking normally when the resistor fails the motor will still run on speed 3 (resistor is for speed 1 & 2) but the motor feed still runs throught it and if yours is covered with wet mud could have corrded the terminals so bad they have broke off??
yeah i want to know the size as i am being lazy so i only have to remove the door trim once
i was in the doors the other day too changing door locks lol

my rangie takes £32 ish to fill and i get 150 miles so about the same (mostly round town)
also dont forget that you will only get 80 ish % of the fuel economy of petrol as gas.
on a run i get 170 miles as a steady 85 ish

hi all my 93 rrc vouge se (has the bass bin in the boot) is in need of some new door speakers (esp the lower ones rotten)
so i need to know what ones are a direct straight swap and what size should i be looking for?
thanks rob
hi all my 93 rrc used to have air sus (replaced with coils before i got it)
and i have noticed that the front spings have no securing device on the tops??
on my last classic the shock went through the middle of the spring on this being a ex air sus the front shocks are further forward.
so my question is ....... what should i do with it to secure the springs??
thanks rob
mine has the rimmer bros full stainless sports exhaust with the 4 branch manifolds and seems ok
could do with maybe being a touch louder tho but seems a good fit on the car
