Hi guys i have a s11a fitted with a disco 200tdi engine and was wondering can i fit a 300tdi engine cover onto a 200tdi engine there is no sound proofing in the landy and wondered is it worth fitting one or not ? graham __________________________ 1962 2a swb 200 tdi.

had the landy out today and the ride was really nice and smooth i even had 10 bags of dog food in the back and i didn't know i had them there in fact it felt better loaded than empty but really enjoyed the drive. graham ________________________ 1962 2a swb 200 tdi.

if your set on RMs join the que as RM are dragging there feet when it comes to make / supply parabolic springs i ended up getting some GME ones from paddocks as they didn't have any s**tpart ones in fitted them on today no probs the p/ns are front LR001L and rear LR002L hope this helps ? graham __________________________ 1962 2a swb 200 tdi.

i just cut a square hole out of the inner wing and that allowed the turbo hoses to fit just make sure all the hose clips are tight as you will get water spray off the tyre ? graham __________________________ 1962 2a swb 200 tdi.

at the mo its a swb van but it is awkward to tie everything down when going off roading so wanted to make it more compact but at the same time make it easier go get stuff out also would like to make it so i can stand on it so it would have to be strenthened underneath the chequer plate i would like to keep everything inc the spare inside the rear tub also can't make my mind up weather to fit a drop down tail gate or fit a choped down rear door ? graham. __________________________ 1962 2a swb 200 tdi.

tried to find a place to put the heater but it is too big to put it where i would like to fit it ( where the round heater fits ) and because of the size of the mini heater ( mk2 ? ) it is too big to fit in the n/s footwell. it will fit but would be in the way when getting in and out of the landy especialy when off roading with boots on so looks like a mk1 heater would fit better ? graham. _______________________ 1962 2a swb 200 tdi.

thanks soren frimodt i have now placed an order with paddocks for a full set of parabolics as i am getting quite desprate now so i will give them a try and see how we go ? graham.

right i have just been on ebay looking at austins for sale mainly looking at interiors for heaters and found two minis with the same heater as i have been given one was a 1964 ( B reg ) which i think is a mk2 mini the minis i have been looking at in the past where mk1s and pos mk3s ( 1980s ) so looks like it is a mini heater after all ? graham.

Hi guys has anyone tried the new parabolic springs that paddocs are selling i have herd because the old paras were rubbish they have started selling better ones has has anybody fitted any to theres and how good are they ? graham.

i just used an early defender air filter but you may struggle to find somewere to fit it as mine is a s11a and the air filter is in the same place as your heater unit but you may be able to fit it over the engine if you don't plan to use it off road then you could fit a remote air filter ? graham.

the both coped very well we did get stuck a few times in the deep ruts but there was times when we went where the defenders couldn't go i have taken loads of pics but i have to make them too small to get them on here but you can see them all on land rover uk forums ? graham.
