Vector winch?
vector runs from the winch mid mounted rearwards, round a pulley then forwards out the chassis leg,
the way @Daan is suggesting would be winch mounted in the rear cross member but facing forwards, so single line out the front & double line out the back, theres a few ultra 4 cars set up with roughly the same setup -
i feel slightly sad that the 8274 has been removed inplace of a lowline 😆

In which case I'd probably suggest looking out for a set of 40-1250-17 treps on the used market, generally they are the competition compound so softer than normal tyres
-
What size of tyre are you needing? As used 40" treps arent overly expensive for the size of them,
-
quite heavy & not overly agressive

I looked at the rac parts one in 3" recently, decided to put the snorkel on hold as the rest of the airbox isn't that well sealed anyway

@Stellaghost 17x9 rims are available off the shelf with landrover 5x165 stud pattern

-
57kg a wheel & tyre isn't that heavy,
Sounds about right for when we ran 37" treps on alloy beadlocks

Not sure you'd find anything on a 20" rim though
You get a 42" nitto in a 20" rim,

Ineos Automotive are a subsidiary of one of the largest chemical companies in the world, so they don’t have to worry about little things like turning a profit. It’s a very handy tax write off for the billions in profit they make every year.
its FU money at a whole new level

yeah just mount the lowline feet forwards / outwards,
how do you mean the slot is offset? im assuming its at the bottom of the bolt spacing? -
@muddy the standard 8274 boltpattern is the same pattern as low line winches, i do have a comeup lowline with there wide drum conversion which makes it the same bolt pattern as a +3" width 8274

in fact, they made it from the top carpark at walters, down the gate keeper in the river bed at the JLR rocks & broke the rear R&P in the gate keeper, aprox 20 minutes on site 😤

i bought a 2nd hand Ikamper for our trip round scotland this year, was very easy to use, seem to hold there value well if you intend to resell, i like the fact with the reasnable thick canvas, its dark inside even during the day,

Was it the Toyos that were found to be either really noisy or had incredibly stiff sidewalls? How are you finding them?
You photo makes me reget not buying a 110 DC as the coolest LR ever made.
I've found the toyos quieter than the bfg, but they do have stiff sidewalls
So far for the 30 miles I've done I do like them, about to do the nc500 in 2 weeks so can report back after that 🤣

Just fitted a set of 255/85/16 toyos to my 110, weren't that dear but looking online seem to be about the 150 mark,
If anyone is interested, I have a set of BfGoodrich km2 in 255/85/16 I'm selling

@Northwards where about in scotland are you?
i have a guy local to me that does good exhaust work thats fairly priced just outside bathgate -

Has anyone here done it or have the knowledge to share to be able to do it ?
There are kits out there but every one I look at is sold out.
Would like ball ended lever valves for operation, used like little diff lock levers 😁.
I haven't the first clue in what to look for 😵
I really like the look of this one which is compact and tidy but is sold out

im intending on fitting a varient of that kit to my m57/8hp conversion, currently swaying towards electric actuators as it would make the vehicle install slightly easier,
im led to believe that MW machines are in the process of Revising there kit to a less cummins agrifab bracket into a more elegant nicely made bracket- 1
Transmission adapter clearance issue

I'm guessing either 4l80 or 6l80?
What propshaft & flange are you trying to fit?
I know on my bm conversion it's very close to the sump with how the adapter clocks the transfer box slightly
