  6. Hi Guys, well a week ago while offroading i had a fuel problem where the truck would nearly stall or kangaroo about, so i backed flushed the system to make sure it was not carp in the lines or something similar, changed the filters and cleaned the sediment bowl out, also took the lift pump of to make sure that was doing its job properly which it seems to be. But today i put my foot down to go up a hill to where i live and it suddenly lost all power then it kicked back in and drove normally so i decided to go on for a bit and put my foot down again and it happend again so any ideas as what it could be??? thanks in advance

  10. looking good russ B) i think that might have to be the way just inside my rear door, as for pick up route that may be sooner than i think as the truck is slowly getting a good ollection of dents on the rear panels  emmmm bobtail pick up
  11. Hi no i don't do roof racks mine is a discovery commercial and is far from standard B) the idea is im just starting to get into novice winch challenge and i am trying to put my waffle boards somewhere easy to get at, i have seen someone with them mounted to the spare wheel but to me its waiting for a tree to rip them stright off i have thought about mounting one eitherside of the truck on the panels :o not sure if this is wise either.
  12. The plains are not that water logged at the moment so you should be fine, just take the wd40 with you  im usaully out and about with the dog just look out for a disco commercial with a union jack on the bonnet

  14. i took a group out last saturday in the night, now that was good with all the mist specialy when i had fuel problems and gave the map to the rest of the group to go on ahead and i would catch them up  kept my cb on just to listen to them getting lost
  15. Looking really good there B) well done
  16. cheers David i think the best route is to get some decent washers and stick them in there and then trail it for a bit as im not that keen on those spacers either apart from that very impressed with the rough country shocks
  17. Many thanks thats what it is missing right off to get some of them tomorrow :D :D cheers
  18. Hi guy's was out and about on the plains today and noticed a knocking from the front so i presumed it to be a bush on the track rod etc etc but upon further investigation i have found that both sides on the suspensin mounts lower where the shock is held that they can move freely and it looks as though both bush's are worn so i replaced them with some poly jobbies i had lying around and foun that this has made no diffrence. So is there a spacer or something missing the set up on there are rough country +5 and i think +2 spacers as these where fitted before i took the vehicle on, here is a picture of the problem if anyone can shed some light it would muchos appreciated by the way its the gap thats in the circle thats the problem i think, also i have tried to tighten them all up but they are as tight as they can go!!!!
