  1. To be honest i'm not sure mack, should there be markings on the wheels?? if so i will have a look tomorrow for you.
  2. Hi and welcome, i am running 265/75/16 on my 110 van on standard suspension with no problems at all. And the rims im running them on are black modulars, i have not had to adjust the steering locks either.
  3. some lovely views there David.
  4. we have had nothing here as normal
  5. yep im in aslong as its not black as it shows up way to much fluff and dog hair its hard wearing a t-shirt with fluff on it when you have ocd oh and would you be willing to send it to the Falklands islands
  6. There is a god...........there was me thinking i would be driving round in a santanna or dare i say it a G WAGON Arrrgggh, it will be intresting to see what they do as respect with the bowman kit and a land rover as you know walfy, tis a squeeze in the back with that kit and im starting to run out of room to put jaffa cakes!!! It would be nice if the British Forces keep up and buy Land Rover again
  7. It does look nice but it's a shame the MOD won't go for it, as with Bowman (radio system) takes up to much room!!!! i think they are looking at larger vehicles and not land rover............ boo hoo!!!
  8. ah sorry that's not the refurb picture, that's a completely new 110 at the defence vehicle show in france somehwere i came across it looking for the refurb 110
  9. Found this while looking for the refit photo's of the MOD land rovers and came across this. It looks like it was a last minute thought to me as its just the same as the old 110 but with the new engine!! here's a picture.
  10. I had a rattle that was in that area and after proding around, i found that the exhaust mount that is on the engine block had broken so i replaced that and it does not rattle anymore. By the way that was on a 200tdi
  11. now come on thats a bit of a harsh statement we use vo5 styling gel these day's not that i have much hair good luck with the door's
  12. don't listen to Jim about the smell as he is only jealous you have a landy that drives and his is still in bit's most ex MOD vehicles get drivin in a certain way and that is "drive it like you stole it" as for the doors i would do as someone above mentioned and like i have done, take trhe door cards off and get at the rust with a rust treatment prouduct and then i coated mine in a plastic type paint that we use at work or waxoil. Also i think for the rear canopy it's a bit of a lottery your best bet would be stick it on ebay
  13. Jim we have exactly the same type at work that the medics run round in hardly any miles on the clock either any idea where this one came from GM110?? Oh and jim when you passing Lyneham next as i have a pressie
  14. The title was too much for my pea brain so i did not look
  15. im running 265/75/16 on my non lifted 110 van and have no problems at all and i did not need to adjust the steering lock. my tyres are the same tread pattern as BFG MT but they are insa dakars.
  16. I Have had a simlar noise before which turned out to be the end of my camshaft started to break up which was causing a ticking/rattling nosie at first i thought it was the tappet's.
  17. Hi i had a first four bumper a while back and it was superb and cheaper and when i had a look at scorpion bumpers i could not tell the difference.
  18. i think the best bet is autotrader as people forget about that place now as they are more concerned with eblag so autotrader get's over looked. I bought my old 90 200tdi from autotrader and the fellow i bought it from had no intrest bar the people that want to sell the vehicle for you so i drove away with a good 90 for very little money
  19. saying that is just so freaky naughty.......init cheers
  20. I have just ordered a set of 265/75/16 to fit my standard 110 hope they fit!!!??
  21. Thank's mondo never seen that before im RAF and have not seen that one before.
  22. ah the most sense spoken all night!!
  23. In my 110 it is ply lined then carpeted on the ply lining and the roof has been lined to with carpet, also i have added 2" thick foam to the rear floor which is good for the dog and it is pretty quiet in there. I have standard Defender mats in the front and they seem to work with keeping the noise down.............also the 6x9 speakers seem to drown out the engine
