Very interesting discussion and i have a question.
Si White (responce officer), Next time you bump into the helicopter support team could you ask them if they could refrain from circleing my house at 2am?
Someone somewhere had a good idea about using magazine pockets from a coach/bus
i dont have a commercial breakers local so tried Eblag and got these Vanhool pockets for £4.99 a pair
I used to do a bit of grit blasting (shot) and always used CLEMCO products,
might be worth a look
ps. dont grit blast your landy it will melt away in front of you.
Sorry to be all doom and gloom but is it just me or has the weather (seasons)changed noticably in the last ten years
do you think it will pass? and probably go back to what it should be? i think not.
get ready for hot,wet and windy big time

Question:
Will this put up the price of cheap/older cars?
you buy a banger for £300 to drive about for a year (at the moment)
If its got a 2 year ticket, will it be worth more or be a death trap in 18 months?
Hi
I read in a mag recently that a Lord ? is suggesting that vehicles MOT,s should be extended to cover 2 years and new cars have their 1st MOT after 4 years
these recommendations may be brought into force in 2007
Although the thought of only having to get my/your vehicle TOTALLY legal for one day every two years may sound good, does the fact that a good percentage of road users (me included) driving older vehicles have little or no tools/experience/blah/blah/blah to keep this vehicle safe for that period of time?
Will this mean more bangers on the road with a 2 year ticket?
I would like to hear your views
i apologise (for my spellinggggg) if this thread/topic has been already dealt with...
Been looking for some pockets for my growing collection of maps,
when the mrs came home from shopping with the pram sporting a new accessory,
apparantly Morrissons are selling these nets as Stroller bags for under a quid
they look sturdy enough for maps ,have elastic at opening and hooks at each corner.
seem a bargain to me.
she,s going back to get herself one!!
These beemer ones are INCREDIBLY STRONG i might have to fit some rubber bonnet straps just in case it pops open.
they move smoothly but considerable effort is needed to compress them, although once attached the bonnet weight should help.
