I am going to fit a bigger intercooler on my 200 tdi & need to put more pipe work to make it fit. Will this mean a loss of pressure to the turbo or will I be able to compensate it by adjusting the waste gate a touch.????? Any help would be greatfully received . Andy

Hi Peeps, Has any 1 put a Td5 rad & intercooler into a standard 200 Tdi ? If so is it a easy job to do ? & is their any benifits to changing the items over. eg. is the bigger intercooler on the Td5 better & would it give U more grunt ? than the standard 1 on a 200Tdi. reason for asking is of course cost. Allisport = telephone n0's . Td5 rad & intercooler on fleebay from £45.00 ???? just asking the question .

Hello All. I have the chance to buy an lt77 gearbox for my defender 200 tdi (disco engined) Not sure about the year of the vehicle or engine. BUT my box which is in there at the mo makes a real screaming noise in reverse only ? In all other gears it is fine. So I am at a loss.My question is that the G/box I can buy is from a Range Rover so is this a straight swap 1 out 1 in ? or have I got to cut this move that etc, etc, Please help as I am running out of time to buy this 1 . Yes the 2.4 & the 2.5 are the same engine.

HI Guys any 1 know the setting for a 2.4 / 2.5 VM engine. I have to replace the gaskets & 3 out of the 4 heads, BUT am struggling to find any info on the subject. Torque settings timing settings etc etc. Please help MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

Phil .I just done a clutch on my Isuzu trooper 3.1 & I can tell U it was a right Ball ache.Doing this sort of work on the side of the road is NOT idea. as I ended up with bruises all over. & it was a 12 hour job. G/box out & back in BUT it was *ucking heavy so If U ever get asked to do 1 I,d say sorry get it done @ a garage @ the cost of £699.99p Never again,

I have a thing ?? which is part of the fuel pump system which has water flowing through it. Any Idea what it is OR what it does ?? as the rubber pipe fitted to it has broken NOT the rubber part BUT the part that joins the pipe to what ever it is. Still Not sure what it is What it dooes or if it,s really needed ?

Can any 1 help. I have A wheel wobble @ slow speed. especially turning left or right. I have put it down to the tyres being aggressive.I have checked the wheel bearings, the prop, the drop arm ball joint,panard rod & can't find any play in any off it. So I am @ a loss now ?

Ive got a Rangie classic & the speedo has stopped working. I checked the ends that go into the speedo head which seemed lose & the G/box end is tight as it should be so I need a bit of help. Am I right in thinking that the end that screws into the speedo head just screws in their is nothing else that should be their ?

Defo the solenoid my went like that & it was lack of use & maintenance . SO now I make a habit of running out the winch @ least once a week. Also put some Grease over the terminals that helps also. Remember it's a lot of money sat on the front of ur truck so l@@k after it.

Sorry Chaps BUT I towed a range rover from Bristol to Devon & back on a A frame & I had NO issues. I spoke with a Traffic cop & asked him what were the rules & he said that none of the traffic cops would know if any laws were being broke. BUT i did HAVE A FLASHING AMBER LIGHT ON & a trailer board & did not get stopped @ any time taking it down oreven back when it was covered in mud.& as regarding steering it.s NOT that bad. I was down the motorway & had no props.
