good products but i cant see the £60 difference! and they would be useless on my drive as its lay-by style clutch claw is useless if it only last 30 minutes! other thing i seen is a device that locks on your brakes that looks good but i coundnt use it because my new brake componants arrived in blue boxes!

so they haven't go a hope in hell and i see how they are going to sell 60000 of them!! does anyone the price of them?

what sort of tracker you got? link? mine? i have a 2a so there's no secure way of installing anything IMO but i have an 'immobiliser' any way it's hidden in the back garden under an ebay poly tunnel cover and there are two other cars in the way so it will hopefully stay there!!! i dont plan on doing much more to it anyway, paint job and then it goes! the love just aint there any more!! so next im gunna get a defender!! but the rate of them being stolen is very off putting to say the least!! but when i get 1 i hope to go over board with security!! i was thinking 'universal' car alarm with an immobiliser, a non gps tracker, why i hear you ask? because gps 'jammers' are so cheap and readily available nowadays! and maybe some sort of hand brake lock on device! and maybe a pedal secure box. these devices should stop those thieving F*****G pikeys, any other ideas and 'mods' i would love to hear them!!

on my series 2a, i found a mouse nest in-between the rear tub and fuel filler hose and and a robins nest in the fan cowling, just as well it wasn't a runner! and in the vitara i found 27p, so now it has cost me -27p!! :P

the certificate means nothing! people take out insurance and receive the certificate then canceling it so when they get stopped by the bill they have an excuse! and they twigged on to that very quickly! i think you REALLY have to hassle your insurers. its just not worth it nowadays with such a heavy punishment, i think its 6 points and £300 fine+car impounded!

i also heard this, it was one of their options because of the new EU emissions regulation and the fact the chassis was so expensive to produce and the front end had to be pedestrian head friendly but now they have found a new compliant oil burner and i suspect i poorer quality chassis which will inevitably rot faster. or use the dico chassis and plastic panels, they can now product it. but i also heard that the new defender will have the 2.8 disco engine but just another roomier

does this motor show have a website or any think? so land rover have done a deal with the army? so military S3's will flood the market!

oh dear!! when i get a defender, the first thing im doing is fitting a tracker!!!! im glad they didnt get it!! got to ask, what you doing about your landy's security (i assume you informed the old bill, see if they could find D.N.A??)

of course but the point i was getting to...... when i see an abandoned landy, there is a small instinctive erge to steal rescue it as i suspect many other feels when the see one. unless its just me......
