hi philbet, i take it you got this.. it looks good, but for some reason i would prefer a twin Weber set, don't know why!! but whats it like when it comes to fuel? it would be tempting if i hadn't spend so much on my 34ich!! and when i saw the megasquirt kit, i almost passed out! and hello quagmire, i see what you mean about the parts, more things to go wrong eyy!! im not sure but does the weber needle/jets always get blocked up or is that just a myth?? cheers james

freezer, i read that they always leak and im not insuring it EVER and a body that aint fill of dents and some splits, the previous previous owner off roaded it! shame really! and the steering will have to wait till i got an mot, (it aint had one since '04 and it shows!!!!!) chop the chassis??? thats why im goin to use a p38 box, no chopping required!

i changed my mine about the defender box because they bad quility, so back to the p38 box and the only mods are.. k&n filter, parbolics and shocks but the body is tatty and it needs a paint job, its cost me around £2500 and its looks like a £750 ebay job!

i do want a defender but ill never get one! if i sold mine, i would be on a huge loss and insure is cheap??? try £3500 for a '68 s11 no mods now tell me thats not over a barrel???

or wat if i just use a defender steering box?? that would just save alot of kerfuffle!!!! but wat pump could i use that will work with the series fan belt? jamees

could i mate defender shaft to p38, is it a case of swoppin a uj??
