  1. Used to have the nokia 6250 now that was a bludy hardcase see the specs: Durability * Shock resistance: Phone can survive a drop of up to 3 meters onto a hard surface * Water resistance: Phone can survive an immersion for up to 1 minute in water up to 0.5 m deep; water may not be warmer than 50°C. * Dirt and dust resistance: No ingress (when used within the specifications described above) Alas no longer made so now I have the newer version a nokia 5140 both I never managed to kill and the 6250 was dropped several times for the tops of signals onto the ballast. pinged off rails once even caught in the rear end of point work and still worked I miss that phone Bludy heavy it was though

  10. Can't even change 7.50x16 tyres they can't dunno what size that is one of the muppets told me then the manager told me I needed the middle figure as tyres were measure 205/80 x16 so I told them if they were to ring up a supplier and ask for 7.50x16 I'm sure the supplier would know it and the middle figure is 100% and therefore not mentioned i.e 7.50" wide and 7.50" tall on a 16 " rim they stared blankly at me and pointed to the door
  11. Quite often we'll take a works vehicle into them to have a tyre replaced......place is completely empty and yet they tell us leave it (the tyre) with us we're busy at the moment I always tell them I won't leave the vehicle without a spare so I'll leave the vehicle as well That normally speeds them up and it still takes a long time

One word >B******s lost count of the number of times I crawled under a stairs to test an electrical circuit from a fuse/dis box to find something so simple (i.e. faulty kettle blowing fuse/ circuit breakers) It hasn't been right to charge for it simply reset it and left them with a bill for £0.00, and a unusable kettle, that way I knew if the needed me again and it was going to cost money they wouldn't quibble...............
