  1. I have been using IE7 for about 3 months. The only problem I have had with it is not being to upload pictures to ebay. All the forums I use seem to be ok with it. Yes I think they have used/copied/borrowed some things from Firefox. Paul
  2. The simply answer is "not a lot", your axels are 24 spline and the RR is 10. I think the props will not fit, the body wook will not fit. Paul
  3. I know that, just working my way through serviceing it. Just thinkinh a loud if anything else is going to go wrong! The Air filter was not the same brand, but was the same type. The old was not that dirty, but I think it is over fuelling now. I will try it today ands if its still bad its going in to be looked at. Paul
  4. Anyone know if the twin fans here, http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=5287 would be ok on a 200 tdi? Paul

  10. I am looking at fitting longer shocks to my 110. The shocks are 6 inches longer that standard. The problem I have is I need to raise the shock mounts. Dose anyone know where I can get mounts or is it a case of making them? They need to come out so I dont have to cut the rear tub. As I am fitting +2 springs Do I need to lift the shock mounts by 4 inches? Paul
  11. CRAG Partner with Powys CC to get TROs Lifted The Countryside Recreational Access Group and Powys County Council have agreed to work together to lift the TROs on some of Mid Wales most popular lanes. CRAG will provide volunteer labour and some plant and equipment whilst the ROW department will supply stone and other materials to complete the works. A survey and works schedule has been jointly produced by the Powys’ Senior Rights of Way Maintenance Officer and the CRAG Regional Team Leader. Work on the first two byways at Llanoley aka Slasher Alley will commence during May. It is proposed that the project will be completed in two phases, the first will involve the digging of drainage ditches to remove the various areas of standing water. The second phase will involve the laying of up to 250 tonnes of stone in the worst affected areas and deepest ruts. There are currently six TROs on Powys Byways and it is hoped that most of these can be lifted over the next two years by close co-operation between CRAG and Powys ROW Department. Anyone who is interested and able to lend a hand in these works is asked to register their interest by email to Powys@crag-uk.org so that more information can be provided once project dates have been agreed.
  12. Well if it went for a MOT today, you would have got one as the DVLA MOT computers were down. ALL of them. MOTS done today were hand written and a new printed one issued at a later date. Paul

  14. why not change to a 5 speed lt77 tdi box? Paul
  15. Not seen it done, but my 110 has a 200tdi mated to a 3 speed auto. Done with an adaptor plate. I might be breaking a RRc with a 4 speed box and a 2.8td engine with all the bits you need. Paul
  16. This where they catch a lot of people. Dell are very good for the money. There are not the best make but for the price you will not find better. Best to look in the papers at the weekend as thats where the best offers are. There were doing a 1.4 dvd-rw and build in wireless network for £329 with free delivery. Paul
  17. There’s no set limit to size as far as I know, but I could be wrong. But most people would expect it to be wide enough to get a car down. Looking at the picture, it could be anywhere across there. The only way to know the right line would be to use a gps. BOATs, UCRs and other byways hardly ever go straight. Paul
  18. I have been asked to post this. There have been considerable discussions and much confusion regarding the recent changes to Wayfinder. CRAG has been accused of directly or indirectly causing or influencing these changes. CRAG wishes to refute these accusations and in order to clarify CRAG's position, the following statement has been made. CRAG has not influenced Wayfinder in any way. CRAG understands and accepts that Wayfinder's copyright and URL is the property of Ian Boddison. The data contained within Wayfinder is the property of those who have contributed that data only. CRAG makes no claim on Wayfinder but agrees that within the confines of the original agreement made between Ian Boddision, GLASS and the TRF, CRAG meets the criterion to become a Web Enabled Body (WEB) and accepts this responsibility. CRAG's intention is that all who use Rights of Way should enjoy access to as much information about countryside access as possible and will gladly work with others who share the same view. Dave Rogers Chairman Countryside Recreational Access Group
  19. I hope so. It was done (the auto) by a proper company. The man I had off founf the old TD was not good enough so had the TDI fitted. The good thing is that the gear shifter is mounted on the dash and not where the middle seat would be. I will get some more pics tomorrow. Paul
  20. You would not think I fix computers and carnt post a pic Not sure of the colour before it was painted. I will take a look tomorrow. It has only had 3 owners from new. I am going to see if I can trace the company that put the Auto in. As they were only 20 miles from me. As for Orange, I am thinking of Dyno-rod day-glow orange, as I want something to stand out!! Paul
  21. Its a 110 TDI 3 speed auto. Despite military colour scheme It is not an Exmilitary it was originally an electricity board vehicle (hence gas bottle locker on near side). The auto conversion was from new and carried out by VMTP of Shrewsbury. The original engine was a 19J but 85bhp is not a lot to drive a 110 through a Torqueflight box and it was getting tired. It was replaced by a 200tdi from a ’96 vehicle (claimed 40K) fitted in late 2001 at about 101K. At approx 118K it had a new torque converter fitted and the gearbox serviced (seals etc) while it was out of the vehicle. A new fuel tank was fitted last year. Recently It was fitted with re-conditioned injectors and new glow plugs. It was serviced (air/fuel/oil filters and oil) in September last year and has done only a few hundred miles since. There has been the usual replacement of exhaust bits and drive shaft U/Js over the years. The vehicle is fitted with an hydraulic winch manufactured by Superwinch of (Original fitting). The winch capacity is unknown but I would guess about 2-3 tonnes. The hydraulic pump is driven from the PTO and the pump is engaged and the winch operated from the cab. Sorry I can not post pics on here. Paul
