Carting scrap IS an agreed agricutltural practise, so long as that scrap was created by an agricultural practise (if you take a car etc. on top of a trailer load scrap you will probably get stopped). Agricultural scrap is actually classed as an agricultural product so wont be treated any differently to a trailer load of wheat, grass or stock.
If you sit down and read all the publications on red diesel exemption it actually is fairly simple. It usually idle chat and banter that add alot of the confusion to the whole thing!!!!!
discojmz can you fing anything written in stone about the whole limited milage abd red diesel??? we can only find limited operators licencing coming in on a milage from base type scenario.
(we run a fleet of fastraxs on red diesel and have been stopped but never fined or impounded)
