  1. Wiring as it was installed on the old truck. New and improved Keef style wiring. Stupid arty pic of my gas pipe at the tank. A bit of ply with a hole in. A bit of ply with some holes in. Which with some buffalo vinyl becomes a new dash panel. Almost. Bit in the middle is a four line (blade) fusebox for the 12 volt system.
  2. Listening to music on a bluetooth headset fairly kills the battery in short order.
  3. Cool, I love scotchblocks and the massively increased risk of electrical fires they represent.
  4. You can't say that, you blinking Australian! You have to be a bleedin' cockney like I is innit! Les. We're slowly bringing him round to speaking real English rather than cobberspeak. Its not true what they say about teaching old dogs.....
  5. Why consider it? Because a new set of standard springs can be had for £40 if you know where to look. And at the end of the day, I'd rather spend the defecit on fuel.
  6. I recognise that pink one. Its in my garage halfway through an LPG install. Did you chuck a quid in the charity box for the picture rights?
  7. Sorted the cracked casting, fitted the gas feed line and sorted thepetrol delivery problems (sticky fuel solenoid valve). Will make a start on electrics tonight.
  8. Some knackered spotlights with cracked lenses, a pair of plastic cone 6" speakers. Discard the glass, graft the two together, speakers into the spotlight bowls, bolt onto the truck somewhere and youve got instant outdoor tunes from your truck. Stick the spot covers back on and away you go.
  9. Heres mine. Pictures from this years Billing. Is there not room for a readers rovers section?
  10. How many threads do we need on one undersubscribed outdated forum not working for everyone? It works fine here. Are you going in direct or through the magazines main page? http://www.lrenthusiastforum.com/ubbthread...ds.php?Cat=&C=1
  11. Wow, I just posted a message about that in the LRE world section or whatever its called nowadays. If anyone replies to it over there, I'll let you know.
  12. Still works, Ive been posting on there this morning.
  13. Maybe it was a calculated ploy to get rid of all the 'undesirables'?
  14. Not a lot of progress today. Decided to sort the leak on the front tee piece to the cooling circuit having 'found' 26 metres of PTFE tape today. Had to cut one of the jubilee clips off and bodge a replacement. Bolted the relay in, Fitted the petrol shutoff solenoid valve (Blue wire in the centre is the earth for it). Had some fun getting it running until I remembered theres a manual cutoff on the bottom of the valve. Then I cracked the casting on the side of the thermostat housing. Bugger it.
  15. Kit is through Chris perfect, I believe. I bought it fitted to a 109. Paid less than the price of a new kit for the lot. Free 109. Progress from tonight. Got all the engine side hoses trimmed, routed, fitted and tightened. Just need a bit of PTFE to seal the tee piece to the thermostat housing. Then comes the main tank to vap gas line and the electrics. Getting a bit busy on the carb side of the engine bay.
  16. Come off it Luvvers, even I know where you live. Assuming I haven't lost the scrap of paper I scribbled it on.
  17. They shoot horses, don't they?
  18. Its fitted with a truck-cab or goes topless, like it is at the moment (but maybe without the pink paint). I just wanted it up out of the way and the elbow on the reverse fits nicely into the gap between the tub capping and the bulkhead capping. Off to do a bit more soon as the truck is costing me 50 quid a week to get to work at the moment.
  19. And what would be teh best wheels to use with those?
