    1995 RRC 300tdi
  1. Mine came on my original RRC but I love the look so just keep them when I swap vehicles. IIRC originally they were fitted to the likes of W&P type specials as tyres of the day at 16" werent rated for the speed the modified motors could do but were available in 15".
  2. et voila, mine on the way home from having new boots fitted 31x1050x15 Cooper STT. You will need a lift and these wolfrace wheels have quite a big offset so no radius arm rub
  3. doesn't the filler neck undo from the wing via three screws accessible from the filler flap? Least it did on my old 1990 with the low lever filler. For the life of me I can't recall how the later higher ones fit.
  4. The top has a similar arrangement and mine undid by spinning the whole unit after removing the bottom one. The 4 bolts on the bracket will likely be seized.
  5. Not sure about the hinge to body aperture. I would say it is circular and fits the bolt, I don't recall a slot...... That said assuming both of mine are typical they are quite sloppy, it is only the pressure of the tailgate against the seal, or the the struts, pushing the tailgate away that stop it moving towards the car. I take it there is not enough side movement in the hinge to tailgate fixing? Mine were captive nuts, but not fixed in place so could move in all four directions (up down left right) for positioning. Maybe, remove the struts and see if it fits then work from there.
  6. Never had a brand new one but on the original fitments IIRC if you undo the two cross head bolts (not remove) the hinge will slide to allow adjustment. I slackened mine. closed the tailgate and positioned where I wanted it, then tightened them.
  7. various oil leaks from engine gearbox etc do well for some areas but otherwise I've used hammerite and underseal. If you've done weld repairs Underseal is great put onto cleaned and still hot metal, gets into all the welds
  8. have you bled the caliper in the right order? IIRC its outer nipple, inner nipple, top nipple. Double check the sequence though!
  9. Not got pictures unfortunately but my old 1990 3.9 with an LT77 had a tubular gearbox xmember, a very wide flattened U shape. Pretty sure the flanges were the same. Like this... edit: Sorry Just realised the flanges are not the same!
  10. Can't tell you measurements but for an RRC with BorgWarner the front prop is about 2"/50mm ish longer than one for the same vehicle with LT230. Guess how I found out!
  11. the ABS one is something like that but iirc the TC one is more like a conventional bayonet type lamp for some reason, obviously not large though, sorry i cant be more specific
  12. Does the ABS actually work?? If yes you might be lucky and it's just the lamps are both blown for some reason. Do all the other lamps work (oil, charge etc)?? If just the ABS/TC symbols I suspect you'll find that the lamps are simply not there and have been removed due to a fault and MOT/Sale time etc. It is possible to get the binnacle out to check without removing the wheel but is very tight.
  13. If you do swap from 10 to 24 spline be aware that the brake calipers and bolt sizes are different. I cant remember which are bigger or smaller but guess how I found out
  14. cant help specifically with your problem but the front two mounting points have had aluminium spacers on them to level the seat out, maybe an inch or so. I assumed the rear two were the same height relative to each other. If you still want fore and aft adjustment can you not weld a piece of box between the two where your new seats mount and drill and fit them accordingly. Similiar to the pic further up.
