Trixxeo
I just received some new doors for my 90. The lift up handle but with a window winder type. Now I've fitted one door and it fits alright, however it's not perfect. The gap around the door is correct and it hangs straight. But the bottom left corner goes inwards past the body line, and the top right sits proud of the windscreen line. Would placing an additional spacer behind the top hind push the top in and the bottom out? I haven't got the bottom door seal fitted which may push the bottom out a little. But obviously won't account for the top. My other thinking was the door just needs twisting a little with some force on the top.
neil110
It is possible to adjust the fit of the door with plastic shims under the door hinges. These are the type for the earlier, smaller, hinges. Cannot find the No for the later hinges at the moment. https://www.brit-car.co.uk/search.php?query=mwc1898&xBrand=&part_type=&xSupplierID=&product-sort=&xPerPage=
FridgeFreezer
On the Defender production line they have a couple of big burly chaps with rubber mallets to adjust them, I never knew you could bend a Defender door that far!

I'll see if one of those works. Just not sure if it will be enough to push the top in and the bottom out.
Scotts90
Some forceful tweaking may be required, a few tugs at the door frame can provide enough "adjustment" to aid fitment. Don't get too carried away though!

neil110
In the past, when I had a twisted door, I had about 6 shims under 1 hinge to get it to close properly
Maverik
Just done a set of doors myself, the originals had a number of the plastic gasket type things packed under the hinges on the door part to obviously align the door up, go for it.
