Mike I always use Elring composite, I tried a steel MLS one a few years ago & ended up with oil/coolant mayo in cooling system, for some reason the coolant or oil got between the MLS layers & caused the problem of coolant loss, my 200tdi got a Elring composite head gasket at the rebuild 3 years ago, Mike on Brittanic Restoration says he always fits MLS Rienz head gsdkets to any 300tdi he rebuilds. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
