Hi all, my discovery won’t crank.

put the key in, turn ignition on and get all lights, radio etc. turn further to crank and I loose the radio as if it’s trying to start but it doesn’t crank.

no flashing lights or anything on the dash and the lights on the gearstick change and correspond to the gear I’m selecting when playing with the stick

any suggestions?

See if there is 12V on the starter trigger wire. It's the most simple test - if there IS power, there is a starter or main cable/earth fault.

If there is none, it's something in the low power side to cause no power to trigger the solenoid.

I just hook a buzzer onto the trigger and earth, and listen for it... it's especially handy on intermittent faults.
