Range Rover Ash
HI, I have a 1995 HSE range rover 4.6 petrol auto, it conked out the other day and won't start, i took off the fuel pipe going to rail, and it's dry, no fuel coming at all, is this definitely a fuel pump gone? Thank you for any replys!

landroversforever
Is the pump running? Checked the fuse to the pump?
FridgeFreezer
ECU controls the pump, it won't run the pump if it doesn't think it needs to, which is based on various criteria. Do you have spark?
Escape
Also check the inertia switch. First step is to make sure there is power going to the pump. Unfortunately, the connector can't be reached as it sits on top of the tank. I would check/ bridge fuse 39, relay 12 and the inertia switch first. If the pump still isn't running, you can easily cut an access hole under the right rear seat to reach the pump. Much easier than dropping the fuel tank.
