Evening all,

Just a quick question regarding the output voltage of my alternator!

I changed my alternator about 2 months ago & all seemed ok, I have a digital voltmeter fitted & it has always sat around 13.9 to 14.1 volts when the engine is running until Wednesday it deceided to change & it now sits at either 15 or 15.1 volts & only dips slightly when loaded! (lights on ect) Today to eliminate a fault on the volt meter I tested it with my multimeter & it gives the same reading! <_<

So the question is, is my replacement alternator throwing a wobbly & is likely to pack in or is a 15 volt output ok?

Cheers,
