Guest dew110CSW
Mine does it when the hazards are used instead of the main flasher light - assume that was LR Standard. It also did it once in a major rainstorm when the Lucarse wiring threw a paddy and I lost about half my indicators.
LandyManLuke
I'm pretty sure my trailer light flashes once when i indicate, and always has done.
western
That's correct, it should flash once when turning either direction then go out & with a trailer attached it should flash at the same speed as the vehicle one & with hazard lights on it should flash in unison whether a trailer is attached or not

Gromit
Lucarse wiring threw a paddy New one to me. Should I take offense?
davie
sounds like your trailer indicator work is working perfectly to me - did exactly the same on my 200 tdi disco and does same on my 2003 90 - guess i would be more worried if it didnt do that!!! slihp
i guss it is possible they have done that all the time and ive never noticed. my first 90 and only had it about 5 weeks. strange. thanks chaps!!
Guest dew110CSW
Think it's just because on first flick the power will be sent to to trailer to test if theres one there and when it comes back blank the 90 just assumes it's not there.
slihp
correct, i read the operating manual, when the key is turned to position 2 the the trailer circut is tested and then gose off. this is the case for most systems on startup. but i have never noticed the light coming on once when indicating. i guess i have just missed the initial flash. Guest dew110CSW
Just a note, mine doesn't flash once whenever the indicators are pressed, but the light works as it comes on for the Hazards.
