flatback90
as the poll states given the choice which would you fit to a series 3.? many thanks!
Mark
I voted husky 8 - possibly even the one in the classifieds... seriously - if you can get one secondhand, I wold go with the husky, but if you have to buy new, I would go ep9... as ever though, it depends on what you want to do with the truck... jules
I had a husky for about five years fitted on my 90 which I bought second hand and I did do a full service eventually but otherwise for shear reliability and fit and forget value the Husky good as gold. (as long as you not in a hurry)
will_warne
Both are good winches. The Husky is slower but possibly tougher (that's not to say the EP won't take abuse). I used one as a rear winch and it was good as gold just not quick enough! I've got a few friends who've got EP9's and they seem to be a good all round winch. My only critisism would be the size of the drum.
western
Husky every time, reliable, can't run back with a load on it, had mine [bought 2nd hand] for 12 years & it's great
