D9OSV
An amazing adventure and a very well put together. With rumours of at least 2 top Aussie drivers and a heap of Dakar stars on show this really is a great event to be involed in. This truely international occasion has a fantatsic feel to it that i can not describe, you really do feel part of something very special. Sections vary from 300km gps runs across desert mountain and marsh, to short sharp rock climbing sections or long river sections with long slippery near vertical winch pulls. This event really does have everything. Expect to drive somewhere in the region of around 6/7000kms offroad in some of the most beautiful places in Northern Africa pitting your witts againist nature and get to meet and compete againist some great people. Not sure if it's your bag? Come to the briefing on the 19th January even if only for a drink. You will not regret it. Jim 2nd place. D9OSV
If you are travelling the route used by the organising team EG: Ferry from Sett (South of France) to Morroco you will require 3 weeks in total to allow for travelling time. However if you are making your own way to Morroco then you could JUST do it in Two weeks. Its a long way Jim
