Les Henson
In your own mind you have an internally caged series defender with the cage on the outside, V8 petrol oil burner with megasquit, coiled leafer on 24-spline portal rangy axles, single Avon gel battery on split charge, 750/16 rims with 37" boggers, extended but still the same length as standard propshafts, standard diffs with limited slip lockers, a left hand snorkel fitted on the right - made by Safari mantec B&Q ltd, straight through stainless exhaust that rusts and exits through the left, right, and rear of the vehicle, tray back van side body with an electro-hydraulic winch at both ends and one in the middle - just in case. bill van snorkle
I'd understood it to mean a vehicle build project that originally began with lots of enthusiasm and grand ideas that gradually vaporised due to lack of time, enthusiasm, sufficient finances, workshop facilities etc etc. Bill.
