Aggieturbo
I've recently bought a 1988 110 SW fitted with 11 seats but only 5 seat belts (in the front 2 rows). Whats the best way to fit belts for the 6 inward facing seats (2 x 3 person benches)? I guess the anchor points need to be strengthened or the load spread over more than just one bolt, but as I don't know anybody else with this modification I'd welcome any ideas please. western
the late 300Tdi & Td5 110 11/12 seater uses these bracket for the rear bench seats
disco tony
another way is to use retractable belts. The chap in the link will do a deal for multiple purchases. You would need to use a spreader plate. I've got six but not yet fitted them, time is precious! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Universal-Retractabl...7QQcmdZViewItembelts
Aggieturbo
Thanks for the link and the pictures, I've had a look and will probably put them in as soon as i've sorted out another problem which has arisen and is a bit more pressing. See the new post if you think you could help with a power loss problem.
kamel
I own a 110 CSW 2002 with the rear bench seats removed, but the brackets (number 20 in the picture above) are still installed. Is it safe to remove these brackets?

Yes but I would retain all the bits just in case you or the next owner ever needs them.
tacr2man
If you are going to fit seatbelts on sideways facing seats ( inwards facing ) the only type I would consider are full harness type fitted tightly to the occupants. Other types are virtually useless, in a front end shunt, and can cause as many injuries as they save
