LR90
Nice pattern Are you referring to the pattern between the blocks? Looks pretty but can't see what it is there for.

Michele
Ask Bowy I'm waiting for an holiday trip in the Netherlands to pick a set up I'd like MT-117 Sport in 285/75R16 (only size I would eventually allowed to run!)

No, I meant nice tread i.e. big and chunky, all shoulder lug and not much else so hopefully lots of grip B) Prob find they are Simex money though which means by the time I ship them down here we're talking £1000 for a set which means n F chance

Michelle, Do you mind if I ask "Are the Netherlands the cheapest place in Europe?" - If so, how much? I'm curious because I'm over there fairly often for work and might try and sneak a set back (1 at a time of course as I think folk would notice a full set in my hand baggage! ) Cheers

I think you'll find the little raised lumps are there to aid the release of trapped mud in the thread. It stops the suction effect.... or that's what I've read on tyre design. Cheers, Andy
BogMonster
I think you'll find the little raised lumps are there to aid the release of trapped mud in the thread I find 4th gear low range and about 3000rpm is quite effective at that
Michele
Michelle, Do you mind if I ask "Are the Netherlands the cheapest place in Europe?" - If so, how much? Nah,I don't mind but honest I couldn't say if it's the cheapest or not! BUT!when I first asked Serious IIa this was the reply: "Average price is about 150 euro a piece" Maybe it's not the cheapest price but seems pretty good! Considering a common BFG MT is +- 170Euros here! Definitely the Netherlands are worth my visit!
