fender1234
ok my rear chassis outriggers are rusted to point where my fuel tank is hanging off. So i bought two new ones cut the old ones out and lined up the new ones and now i have to options; 1. Pay someone to weld them up 2. Buy a mig welder and do it my self, how difficult a job is this? as ive only learnt to weld bits of metal on a bench not underneath a vehicle, welding vertically around a tube is there anything/method i should know if i do it myself? cheers
white90
with the floor panels removed you can get a fair way around the outrigger, but You are so near Les Henson why not PM him He is top notch and local to you
Sean
buy yourself a welder, it'll pay for itself many many times over no landy own should be without one
