mudmad
Hi , does anyone know who have taken over from milner conversions ? , i'm looking for a conversion plate for my defender to put a 2.8td isuzu engine in but cant find the advert for them anywhere , i had it in the back of a mag a while ago but my missis seems to have seen fit to throw it away but as usual she denies any knowledge of it ! Fatboy
Crazy, If you click the link and then the Land Rover, you will find that Conversion and Precision also do kits to fit the Daihatsu engine.

ChrisV8
Got all my bits from C & P all went in very well, the Isuzu makes a great conversion, be wary of the special exhaust downpipe mine was useless and I bought one from Steve Parker's that also didn't fit, mine is an ex V8 with a Santana box and I think the down pipes that are sold are either for Rangies or for LT77 gearboxes. najw
Not true - Milner sold off the part of his business specialising in conversion plates and adaptors to concentrate on aftermarket parts for Japanese 4x4s and the Race Shop. You won't find any reference to engine conversions on their website as that business now belongs to Conversion & Precision. how can you not find milner.. just google "milner" and its the top hit.milner! nobody took them over, they just moved to a new building for more space. Eightpot
You'll be limited by the bolt pattern on the engine backplate, and if it was in a Range Rover it may have used an LT95, LT77, R380, ZF, Chrysler torqueflight. Different spigot bearing diameters possible also.
