We're be at the first round Until we break something and go home early, as I am too old for camping and too girly for the cold there was no muddy's last year and no indication that there would be anymore we booked/arranged/planed our events for the year.

I have checked with the MSA and it will be a requirement of their insurance when Challenge is sanctioned as an official disicipline in 2010.

Based on this I think it is sensible that we keep it as a reg for the coming year so no-one gets out of the habit.

Come on Saley - get your inventing head on and come up with something new that doesn't slip or get sucked through the fairlead :blink:

I was thinking can we use a football on the rope (by putting the rope through it)it wouldn't go through the hawes do the same job and cheap compared to £20 blankets

has the issue about the winch blankets been sorted, do we or don't we have to use them next year?

all mine have been shreaded and i would rather not have to spend on new ones

can't you buy a secondhand one .i bet you will still find a way to get a ball stuck. them winches of yours will eat owt

I am pleased to confirm that Round 3 of the 2009 AWDC Howlin' Wolf series will take place on the 10th May at Clyro Court near Hay-on-Wye in Wales.

A map will be added to the Howlin' Wolf website shortly
