BogMonster
I swear by the General AT2s (in fact I'm beginning to sound like a stuck record...) others also recommend the Cooper Discoverer ST's. BFG ATs are a safe if expensive choice and will last longer than the AT2s - I've got BFGs on the Discovery. However I think the slightly more open tread of the AT2s works better in gloopy stuff - at least my Ranger seems to have more grip on AT2s than the Discovery on BFGs though that could be just because the Discovery ETC is carp - its difficult to compare like with like but I would say the AT2s have the edge. Anderzander
I have the BFG's - excellent tyre!
Orange
I have General Grabber AT2s which, after about 30,000 road miles still have between 8.5 and 9mm of tread left on them. Can't fault them really and they are pretty good on the sort of off-roading I do in the Disco, too - grassy fields, muddy campsites etc... 61a
Very happy with my Cooper ATR's. Excellent on road and plenty of off road capability for green laning Jules
